The Crush Girl time commitment can be anywhere from 8-15 hours a week. Rehearsals may begin at the end of September until the end of the AFL season (July 2008). There will be a mandatory boot camp upon making the team (no exceptions). Rehearsals are typically twice a week but could potentially be three times a week if necessary. Practices are on Thursday evenings and alternate Sundays and Mondays. The Crush Girls may be required to take several days to go on location for the calendar shoot. Each Crush Girl attends two autograph signings/promotions a month. Games are played on both weekday and weekend evenings. On game days, the Crush Girls arrive at the arena by 3:30pm. The position is not full time. All dancers must have a full-time occupation or be a full-time student. The position is paid on a per practice basis along with other forms of compensation.

FAQ

Q: What studios do you recommend if I need to work on my dance technique before auditions?

A: There are two highly recommended studios depending on where you live. Center Stage Starz is located in Littleton, (303) 713-0355. Elite Dance Academy is located in Broomfield, (303) 466-8626. Both studios are highly accredited and work very closely with the Crush Girls during the season.

Q: How many dancers do you take and how many spots are open?

A: The Crush Girls may take anywhere from 20-30 ladies. Technically, all of the team positions are open because each returning Crush Girl must re-audition.

Q: I can't make it to the audition on August, 25th is there an alternate way to audition?

A: No, due to the high volume of applicants we do not allow for alternate auditions.

Q: I'm interested in studying abroad during this school year, will that be a conflict?

A: Yes, we need each Crush Girl to be 100% committed to the schedule. We will not be able to work around a study abroad program or long vacations that interrupt with the Crush Girl commitment.
